Welcome to ~*~WOMB~*~, a new online journal for poetries by women. Our first issue debuted on January 15, 2007.
~*~WOMB~*~ is intended to showcase the diverse and intriguing work of contemporary poets who self-identify as women. We also hope to provide links to resources that are of particular interest to women poets and to build a comprehensive blogroll of women poets who blog. At this time, Womb Poetry will have one *huge* chock-full of honeycombed goodness annual issue. We also plan to do smaller special issues and pdf chapbooks. The chapbooks will also be available in limited hand-bound editions through our sister project HEX PRESSE.
